Our intent is to make the Sacraments available to all Catholics who would like to receive, but are unable to attend Sunday Mass due to injury, illness, advanced age, or circumstance. We distribute the Body of Christ to persons who are homebound, hospitalized, or in nursing homes/assisted living facilities in Wayne who wish to receive it. First Reconciliation and First Communion are usually received in Second Grade.  Children must be enrolled in the Religious Education Program   for two years prior to receiving these sacraments.  Special arrangements are made for older children coming into the program.  Parents are expected to take part in their child's preparation for the sacraments and must attend one meeting in February.

First Reconciliation is usually received in March toward the end of their second year of sacramental preparation.
