The theme this year for Catholic Schools Week is "Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service." At IHM, we think this is very appropriate since we believe that a Catholic Education at IHM provides a well-rounded foundation for our students not only academically but spiritually. IHM’s educational program focuses on the individuality of each student and provides a challenging curriculum that encourages students to achieve their full potential and surpass it. The nurturing, respectful environment of the school allows the children to develop into confident, intellectual, moral individuals. We strive for each child to reach and then exceed their potential. The sky’s the limit at IHM.
For over 50 years, IHM has provided children with a superior education rooted in Catholic faith and IHM is here to stay! Our weekly school liturgies coupled with a whole school morning prayer experience lay the foundation for faith development. We not only teach religion; we live our Christian Catholic faith each day. Children learn that giving of ourselves to others is the message Jesus taught. The school children, faculty and families are generous and always looking for ways to help the people around us.
This current school year we have been able to provide 5 full days of in-person learning for the majority of the school year. We follow all Covid protocols and keep the safety of our students as a priority.
IHM continues to invest in your child's education by ensuring that we have the best teachers and programs; by purchasing new technology including but not limited to Smart Boards, new computers, IPads, Chrome Books and Elmos, digital visual presenters, to guarantee our students are being educated with the most current tools available; and investing in new and innovative programs. Our teachers are developing strategies in differentiated instruction to meet each student at their own level and provide an environment which meets their personal learning style.

We are constantly upgrading our security system to better ensure the safety of all at IHM. We have installed new cameras, new phone system and new procedures. Security and safety are a priority of ours.
